As I mentioned in article #5, the burden of proof is upon those who contend that the Bible is NOT the Word of God. The Bible believer doesn�t have to prove anything.
���� However, we should be prepared to provide honest seekers of truth reasons why we believe the Bible is God�s Word. We are told to �be ready always to give an answer to every men that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear� (1 Pet. 3:15).
���� In these concluding articles, I will suggest evidence supporting why it is reasonable to say that the Bible is the Word of God.
���� First, I believe it is reasonable to believe the Bible is God�s Word because of it�s uniqueness. It is the most widely read book in all the world. It is read by five year olds and ninety-five year olds alike. It is read with pleasure by people from all walks of life. That cannot be said of the Koran, the Hindu Vedas, or the Book of Mormon. How do you account for that?
���� With all our boasted achievements in science, art, and learning, how is that we cannot produce anything in literature that compare with the effect that the Bible has had on the world?
���� Evangelist Billy Sunday said: "If man made the Bible, he ought to be able to make as good a one, if not a better one� Let the atheists and materialists and the agnostics or any other kind of 'tic' who doesn�t believe the Bible produce a better book if he can. Go to all the books from all the libraries of all the nations of all ages and cull out of all these books all that is good and noble and pure and inspiring. Go and glean from the fields of geology and botany and astronomy and science and then embody your results into one book�I defy and challenge you that you cannot produce a book that will touch the hem of the garment of the Bible if you take the best out of all the books of all ages in the world." ���  It is estimated that only one half of one percent of all books published survive seven years; that eight hundred out of every one thousand are out-of-print in one year. Yet, the Bible�s popularity has steadily grown throughout it�s blood-stained history of more than 1900 years. How do you explain that, if the Bible is just a man-made book?
